What is forensic
anthropology?
Forensic anthropology is a type of
physical anthropology that deals
with the identification of skeletal
remains for forensic purposes. In
addition to helping to investigate
murders, the work of forensic
anthropologists helps to solve other
important crimes.

Forensic Anthropology
Forensic anthropologists Bertillon and
Cesare Lombroso are considered the
first specialists who began to use
knowledge about the biological
structure of man to investigate crimes

anthropologists do?
Forensic anthropologists work with
skeletal remains. They identify
bones as being human or animal. If
animal, they determine the species.
Forensic anthropologists do other
things besides identifying bones.
They also work closely with skulls.

2) What is the age of death?
3) Do the remains belong to one person or several?

identification?

10) What was the nature of death?

Now in the 21st century, rapid technological development, a leap in data transfer
speeds, improved microstructure research methods and research methods allow us to
