The national dishof Kazakhstan
The national dish of Kazakhstan is beshbarmak — boiled horse meat served
with noodles and onion sauce. The name means “five fingers,” because people
used to eat it by hand.
• Kazy – a special sausage made from horse meat.
• Kurt – salty dried cheese made from sour milk.
• Baursak – small fried dough pieces, similar to donuts, usually served with
tea.
• Shubat and Kumys – traditional drinks made from camel and horse milk.

Kazakh people.
He played an important role in uniting the
Kazakh tribes and protecting the country’s
independence.
Ablai Khan built strong diplomatic relations with
China (the Qing Dynasty) and Russia, keeping
balance between the two great powers.
Thanks to his wisdom and leadership,
Kazakhstan maintained peace and stability in
Central Asia.

celebrated in Kazakhstan and other

New Year according to the solar
calendar and happens on March
21–22, during the spring equinox. it

China and Kazakhstan have strong friendly

important part of China’s Belt and Road
Initiative. Their partnership helps develop both
countries and supports peace in Central Asia.
For instance, NWPU–KazNU Cooperation
In 2023, they opened the NWPU Kazakhstan
Branch in Almaty. The universities offer joint
bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programs,
student exchanges, and research in materials,
IT, and space technology.
