The MC-80 works with the SC-120 slide maker & stainer.
Each SC-120 can connect with 2 MC-80
CAL 6000(I) /CAL 6000(II)/CAL 7000 (with SC-120)
CAL 8000 (with SC-120)
* An existing analysis line must include a slide maker to be upgraded.
If there is no slide maker, SC-120 will be added for the upgrade.

Function introduction:
Act as connecting bridge between SC-120 and MC-80;
Transport the slide baskets from the SC-120 to its own temporary storage platform, and
then distribute the baskets to the corresponding MC-80 (there are two configurations:
1*SC-120+1*MC-80 and 1*SC-120+2*MC-80).

Cascading Dock Assembly
Function introduction
There are two layers. The upper layer is the basket
loading area and the lower layer is the basket
unloading area.
Each layer is driven by a motor and belt is used to
move the slide basket.
There are multiple sensors in the upper layer. Ensure
that the slide basket can be detected at any position
in the loading area, and then perform loading
The cascading loading tray supports ≥7 slide baskets,
and the unloading tray supports ≥12 empty baskets.

Basket Dropping Assembly
The electromagnet clamps the slide basket after the slide basket is loaded in place.
There are two pairs of opposite sensors(upper and lower). Analog sensors(upper pair) detects whether there is
slide in the slide basket, and digital sensors(lower pair) detects whether the slide basket is loaded in place.
After the slides are picked away, the vertical movement motor transports the slide basket to the lower layer
downloading platform through the two claws

Slide transport and turn-over subsystem
Function
Transport the slides from the slide basket to the temporary storage platform, including barcode scanning and turning over.
The manipulator is used to pick up the slides from the slide basket and place it into the turn over assembly for scanning
and slide detection, and finally placed on the temporary storage platform.
The function of turn over and scanning unit is to read the information of the slide barcode, detect whether there is a slide
or not, and correct the position of the slide that is placed reversely.

Assembly Description
Barcode identification: The barcode is identified by scanner.
Light shield
Slide blood film side detection: The scanner check the print
area to identify the blood film side.(If the print area is
transparent, identification error may be caused.)
If the slide blood film side is reversed placed, the turn over
assembly rotates 180 degrees to correct it.
Blood film photographing: The blood film is photographed
by the scanner.

Slide temporary storage assembly
Function Introduction
Located between the slide turn over unit and the XYZ platform, for receiving the slide gripped by the
manipulator, and moving the slide to the pre-loading position
Single slide mode is available by manually placing the slide. temporary storage unit will transport it to
the manipulator gripping position. The slide will be put into turn over assembly for barcode scanning,
and then placed back to the temporary storage unit.

Slide temporary storage assembly
Process to take out the assembly
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the lower right cover.
3. Remove the right panel.
4. Unplug the motor cable and sensor cable
of the slide temporary storage assembly
5. Remove the 2 screws on the main body
of the slide temporary storage module(black
circle) and loosen the 2 screws(red circle)
6. Replace the motor or the photocoupler.
When replacing the motor or the sensors, do not replace the whole assembly or adjust the height of the
Slide placing platform(5). Otherwise, the height of slide placing platform may not be the same with the XY
platform which will cause slide falling.

Function Introduction
The slide loading assembly pushes the slides from slide temporary storage to the XY platform.
The slide unloading assembly unloads the finished slides from the XY platform to the slide recycling

Please replace the entire assembly when the Z-
axis motor or the microscope body fails.
After the replacement, re-adjust all the
parameters of the optical system, and re-adjust

Function:
It carries the slide to move in three directions (XYZ),
transports the target blood cell to the area under the
microscope objective and finishes focusing.
Assemblies:

1. XY assembly and slide detection assembly can be
replaced, while XYZ whole assembly and Z-direction
assembly cannot be replaced separately
