• Use the information from your progression project to complete your applications.
• You are the ultimate responsible to conduct your own research and apply on time to your
bachelor programmes of interest.
• Main source for your Research: Study in NL

For students without a DigiD:
1.Select your nationality.
2.You will need to upload a photo of the
information page of your passport. Make
sure you have your passport with you. Take
a photo, ensuring everything is clear, not
reflective, and the whole page is viewable.
The numbers and letters at the bottom
need to be legible and clear. Do not use
flash. File size must be .jpg, .png, or .bmp.
No PDFs. File size is maximum 10 MB. T

1.Make sure you download the app! You
will use this as your login
2. If you link it to your Dutch phone number,
be aware that if you change your phone
number or cancel it over summer, that it may
prevent you from logging in over the summer.

Dutch address or make sure the one listed is

4. Include all your names in the given fields, if they
appear in your passport.
5. Fill in the address in your home country (please
don’t enter your address in The Netherlands) If you
do not have a postcode, use: 0000
6.Make sure to pick a memorable password!
7.Double check everything in the Summary page
before you click confirm. You should then receive
an activation email within a few minutes (up to
24 hours).
Important note: Do not use a university email address to create your
Studielink account!

Adding Previous Education Information• In process of making an account please ensure you upload the details of your high school
education as well as indicate that you are enrolled at Wittenborg (“Student Registration
letter”).
• If it asks if you have received a diploma yet for your Wittenborg education, say no. For all high
school education, you will answer yes to this question.
• If you are unsure of your high school graduation date you can generally estimate the date (e.g.
if you know you graduated in June of 2024, you can just put June 1 2024)
*you may already see Wittenborg in your educational background, in which case you do not need
to add it again.

Adding Previous Education Information• If it asks in which country did you obtain your diploma/ degree
certificate: Fill in the country in which you obtained your high
school diploma
• Enter the name of the study programme: Enter the name of the
diploma that you received (for instance Senior High School
diploma / IB diploma / A-levels)
• If you have studied at a University it is recommended you add it
here too.

Confirming the application on StudielinkStudy Programme Details
• Check the details you filled in: WO/HBO Bachelor, Name of Study Programme,
University ?
• Start Date: September 1. 2026
• Type of Enrolment: Student
• Start as: First-Year
• Tick the box at the bottom of the page and click ‘Next’

• Check if all details that you filled in are correct
• Check the box at the bottom of the page

Reminders•You will need to access Studielink next summer to cancel open applications you will not
progress to (specially the Numerus Fixus ones before 1st July) and to indicate how you will
pay tuition.
•Don't forget your passwords!
•You can apply to up to 4 programmes at a time in the Netherlands.
• If you are worried about meeting requirements for UvA (or any other research university),
we recommend you apply to an applied sciences four year programme if you do not wish to
continue studying at Wittenborg.
• Remember! can progress to Wittenborg without applying if you earn at least 30 credits this
year.
• You can only apply up to 2 Numerus Fixus Programmes on Studielink
• Keep in mind that you should always apply for BA/EBE at UvA in Studielink before the 13th
of January as you will need to apply in studielink and complete the application process by
the 15th January

Reminders•You will have to pick up a time for the selection test dates if you are applying for a
Numerus Fixus programme. Our recommendation is that you perform your Selecion
test on the following dates:
18/02/2026 for Bsc Business Administration &
04/03/2026 for Bsc Economics and Business Economics
You will receive study
materials approx 10 days
before the exam!
• As a general rule, all students applying to an English-taught Bachelor’s or Master’s
degree programme with an international diploma are required to pay a nonrefundable €100 application fee in most of the Dutch Universities like Vrije
Universiteit.
• However, there are exemptions to this, like Erasmus University or the University of
Amsterdam where only students applying for a bachelor's programme with a nonDutch diploma are required to pay such a fee. Please have a look into the admission
page of each university you are trying to apply to and if this €100 applies to you.

5. UCAS sessionAre you interested in applying to programmes in the UK?
The UK uses a system called UCAS for their university applications. Many competitive
programmes have deadlines as early as January 1ˢᵗ.
If you are interested in applying to UK universities, please email
amsterdam@oncampus.global and we will sign your in for the UCAS session on
Tuesday 9/12 at 11h

6. NL Scholarship• NL Scholarship is meant for students from outside the EEA who want to do their Bachelor/Master in the
Netherlands
• The NL Scholarship amount to EUR 5000
• The application for the academic year 2026-2027 opened on 1 November 2025.
• Criteria:
1.You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s programme at one of the participating Dutch Higher
Education Institutions (DHEI).
2.You meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice.
3.You hold a citizenship from a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
4.You have not obtained a degree at an education facility in the Netherlands before (you will obtain a
Propedouse Certificate not a degree)
