3. Project Relevance

In the modern video game industry and film production, 3D modeling plays a key role.
Sculpting — a method of digital sculpting that allows for the creation of organic forms with
high detail — is becoming particularly relevant.
The Blender software chosen for this project is a world leader among free 3D editors. Its full
range of features (modeling, sculpting, animation, rendering) competes with paid
alternatives, making it accessible to both beginner and professional artists.

Overall silhouette – Tall,
thin, unnaturally elongated
body with long limbs.
Limbs – Long, slender, with
unnaturally elongated
fingers.
Head – The most
recognizable feature:
instead of a normal face,
five petals.
Characteristics – Absence of
eyes, nose, and ears.
Skin – Pale, grayish-pink,
hairless.

10. Practical Part: Preparation and Creation of the Main Body Parts

• My work began with choosing
primitives. I decided to use
spheres as a foundation.
• The head, neck, torso, arms,
hands, legs, and feet were each
extruded separately from
individual spheres.

11. Working with Polygons and Optimization

While creating the model, I kept track of the polygon count.
• Removing invisible polygons on internal surfaces
• Applying the Subdivision Surface modifier
• Controlling the number of polygons at the joints/bend areas
As a result, the Demogorgon model turned out sufficiently detailed but
not overloaded.

12. Conclusion

• During the work on the project, I achieved my goal: I created a threedimensional model of a Demogorgon suitable for use in game projects.
• Thus, my project shows that modern free tools such as Blender allow even a
beginner 3D artist to create complex, high-quality game models and, most
importantly, to bring their creative ideas to life in the digital space.
