The exemplary fist fights in Atmanovo Ugol lasted until the mid-1980s, then stopped for almost twenty years.
In August 2010, the patronal festival came back.
With it, the traditional games of Atamanovskie Kulachki were revived too.

2013 — Registered as intangible cultural heritage of the Russian Federation
2014 — Declared titular Russian games by the Federation of Ethnosports
2017 — Awarded "National Event" status by Russia's Ministry of Culture

Stanka-na-stenka means “wall-to-wall combat.” It is a traditional group fist fight between two lines of fighters.
The matches follow folk rules and are meant to be disciplined, not chaotic.
It is part of the festival’s old warrior culture.
