Saturday is different! I don't get up at seven o'clock. I get up at nine. There is no
school, so I have a long breakfast with my family.
In the morning, I sometimes help Mum at home. Then I play computer games
or listen to music.
After lunch, I usually meet Emma. When the weather is sunny, we ride our
bikes in the park. Sometimes we play basketball. When it rains, Emma comes
to my house and we watch TV or play games.
We have dinner at seven o'clock, just like on a school day.
I love Saturdays because I have lots of time for my family, my friend and my
favourite activities!

It's Wednesday morning and eleven-year-old Oliver has got a busy day ahead.
He gets up at seven o'clock and has breakfast with his mum and little sister,
Chloe. At quarter to eight, Oliver takes his school bag and leaves the house. His
lessons start at half past eight.
Wednesday is Oliver's favourite school day. He has English, Maths, Science and
PE. At half past twelve, he has lunch at school with his friends.
Oliver comes home at three o'clock. He usually does his homework first, but
today is different. His friend Jake is waiting for him outside.
“Oliver! Our soccer game is at four o'clock, not five!” says Jake.
Oliver looks at the clock.
“Oh! I forgot!”
He quickly changes his clothes and puts his soccer things in a bag.
“But what about your homework?” asks Mum.
“I can do it after the game,” says Oliver.
At four o'clock, Oliver and Jake are playing soccer in the park. They are having
a great time.
Then dark clouds appear. At half past four, it starts to rain.
The boys can't finish their game, so Oliver goes home.
He is a little sad, but Mum smiles.
“Now you've got time for your homework!”
Oliver laughs and sits at his desk.
At six o'clock his homework is finished. The rain stops, too.
After dinner, Dad has an idea.
“Let's play a game together!”
