There are different youth subcultures.
I like to tell about hippies.

Hippies appeared in 1970s. Their ideals
love,peace,freedom of self-expression and
non-conformity to society's rules.

Hippies showed to young people an
alternative to corruption and moral crisis.
The hippie community is a place for
characters without ideals and principles.

They wear worn-out blue jeans and
decorative metal chains. Unfortunately
hippies often use drugs. Today hippies
are more socially active. They set up
environmental groups and charity
projects.
