• Hello, colleges . Let me introduce myself. My
name is Marina Yuriivna. I am a teacher of
English at Dilove School, Rakhiv district,
Transcarpathian region. I finished this school
in 2002. I have been working here for 13
years.
• This is my school.

study English, get acquainted with the
English speaking countries, their culture and
customs.

I define three stages of studying listening:
Pre-listening stage
The process of listening and fulfilling the task
Post – listening stage

Pre – listening stage includes such tasks
Introducing the unknown words
Predicting the plot by the title
Discussion of the topic before listening

While – listening stage includes
Choosing a picture that corresponds the plot
Picture drawing
Arranging sentences in a logical order
Completing the sentences
Marking true or false

6.

Post listening stage includes
Problem solving
Role play
Making decision

7.

• We cannot separate the process of listening
from communication.
• They are linked. Because while listening we
solve the communicative problems. The aim
of listeniong is solving the communicative task
