She was born on the 13-th of October , 1925
in Granteme in the family 0fGrocers.
She graduated from Oxford University
in 1947. In 1953 she received a law degree,
led law practice, specializing in cases
related to tax law.

3. Education

Margaret was a good student and won a
schoolarship in Oxford to study chemistry.
In 1979 she defeated the Labour Party and
headed office as Prime Minister, Britain's first
woman Prime Minister.

4. Politics

In 1959, Margaret Thatcher was elected to
British Parliament
In 1970-1974 she occupied the post of
Minister of Education in the government of
E. Heath.
InMay 1979 the Tories won the elections and
Margaret Thatcher became Prime
Minister.
