Biography
Alexander Shibayev started practicing table
tennis at age seven. First coach - Valentin
Fedoseyev. At the beginning of his professional
career he played for Yaroslavl table tennis club
"Tempo", is currently the club's player of table
tennis "UMMC" from Upper Pyshma Sverdlovsk
region. He played for Yaroslavl, Sverdlovsk
region and Tatarstan.
At present (2016 data) trains in Eslёv in Sweden
under the leadership of coach Peter Sartsa
(Peter Sartz), coached the national teams of
Sweden and Denmark, who previously worked
with Michael Mace

Style of play
Playing in the style of striker , a right-hander ,
is using the European grip. It uses a racket
with a base Petr Korbel FL (Butterfly) and
overlays Tenergy 05 (Butterfly) 2.1 mm thick
on both sides .

Thanks to successful performance in major
competitions in 2011 was among the 28 best
players of the world and received the right to
perform at the Olympic Games 2012 in London.
At the Olympic Games in London, Alexander
Shibayev eliminated in the third round of the
competition, losing with a score of 3: 4 Croatian
athlete Andrey Ghachine .
Progress

to participate in the Summer Olympics in 2016,
