• 1. Cockney rhyming slang
Rhyming slang use in the East End of London, replaces
a word with a phrase which rhymes with the word.
For the first time the cockney rhymed slang was created
in the XVII-th century and Londoners from East End
were its first speakers. It was the Lover class of an
English society - workers, sellers, ship builders– all
who lived below the poverty line.
