4. Physical and geographical location

The territory of the region is influenced by three main
air masses: Arctic, polar (temperate air), tropical. The
Western branch of the Asian anticyclone has a great
influence on the formation of weather conditions in the
cold season. In winter, clear weather prevails. The
coldest month-the average blood temperature is
observed in the North-18°C, in the South-14°C. the
Absolute minimum ranges from 52°-44°C. in the
Spring, the anticyclone weather regime is maintained,
dry and windy weather is formed: the day is very
warm, frostbite is observed at night.

5. Economy

Karaganda region occupies
an important place in the
mineral complex of the
Republic and is the only
one in Kazakhstan ironmanganese, baritepolymetallic, copper ore,
rare metal and coal valley.
