The Natural History Museum is
one of the largest museums
located on the Road Show in
South Kensington. The
collection includes more than
70 million botanist exhibitors
(6 million plants), zoology (55
million copies of animals, half of
them inhabited in a separate
country), mineralogy (500
thousand units and minerals)
and paleontology (9 million).

The museum is best known for its
collection of dinosaur skeletons in the
central hall, including the famous
diplodocus skeleton, and is also
interesting for the mechanical model of
a tyrannosaur. In the zoological part is
a 30-meter whale. The museum has an
interesting collection of meteorites.

The exterior and interior of the
museum building are finished with
terracotta by the masters of the
company Gibbs And Canning Limited
from Tamworth. The bricks are
decorated with images of plants,
animals and fossils. Entrance to the
museum is free.
