2. Purpose and ground of work

PURPOSE AND GROUND OF WORK
Attribute matrix is elaborated to formalize the
conception of information about configuration
items in CAD and to form information model.
Matrix consists of physical and functional
objects, relations between them and their
characteristics in accordance with scope of
General designer (GD).
Requirements for information model are set
forth by App 1.1, chapter 2.12 of EPC contract
between MVM Paks II and JSC EC ASE.

3. Performance target

PERFORMANCE TARGET
Determination of common rules for management of items
and their attributive structure in GD’s and other Project
participants’ CADs;
Organization of centralized management of information
system list of items and their attributes (role of GD on design
stage);
Unification of used attributes by development of attribute
glossary;
Ensuring the data exchange between Project participants;
Control of design solutions based of input data from
adjacent divisions;
Change management during Project development;
Harmonization of project data from all Project participants.

ATTRIBUTE MATRIX APPROVAL PROCESS
Main stages of matrix development and approval:
Development is proceeded in whole
matrix to ensure the unification and
harmonization of used data;
Approval is handled by division of
matrix into separate cards for each item
type (i.e. tank, pump, valves & etc.) with
appropriate list of attributes;
Attributes are categorized for filtering
and readability;
All specialties are involved in
development and approval process of the
card (responsible for card and responsible
specialists for attributes).

MVM Paks II is defined in accordance with equipment classifier in SPF
and type of documents.
