Policlinic the treatment-and-prophylactic
establishment intended for rendering extra hospital
medical care to the population and carrying out a
complex of the preventive actions directed on decrease
in incidence.

5. Independent policlinic

In the country independent policlinics, out-patient clinics
(Out-patient clinic), children's policlinics (Children's
policlinic), independent stomatologic polyclinic
establishments, polyclinic offices of hospitals (see
Hospital) and clinics function (see the Clinic). Besides, the
student's P. intended for rendering the treatment-andprophylactic help to pupils of the highest and average
educational institutions, industrial P. for providing workers
of several industrial enterprises with medical care, P. of the
consulting and diagnostic help which are, as a rule, a part
of regional and large city versatile hospitals will be
organized.

The office of prevention, treatment-and-prophylactic
divisions, as a rule, are a part city P.: therapeutic offices,
including an office for assistance to teenagers, therapeutic
office, surgical office (office), centralized sterilizing,
traumatologic office (office), an urological office,
stomatologic office (offices therapeutic and surgical
stomatology), dentoprosthetic office (office),
ophthalmologic, otorinolaringologichesky, neurologic
offices (offices), cardiological, rheumatologic,
endocrinological offices, an office of infectious diseases,
female consultation (in the absence of it as a part of
maternity hospital), medical and medical assistant's
Health centers, office (office) of recovery treatment, a day
hospital.
