To assist Governments in the process of preparing for the audit
under the IMO Member State Audit Scheme (IMSAS)

4. OBJECTIVE OF THE WORKSHOP

To provide participants with advice on the structure and mechanism
necessary for enhancing the capacity and effectiveness of
implementation of the provisions of the mandatory IMO instruments
and the III Code, with a view to assisting maritime administrations in
the effective preparation for audit under the Scheme.
