in Europe. Forms the greater London
Metropolitan area and the wider Metropolitan
area, which are the second largest urban and first
regional agglomerations in the EU, respectively.
Located in the South-East of the island of great
Britain, on the plain at the mouth of the Thames,
near the North sea. The main political, economic
and cultural centre of the United Kingdom.
