L'arrivée d'un train en gare de la Ciotat) (France, 1896)
is an 1896 silent documentary short film; one of the
first films produced and publicly shown by the Lumiere
brothers. The screen shows the stop of the train at the
railway platform of the station of La Ciotat and the
passengers moving along the cars, "animated" image of
the train moving on the audience, shown in full size.
"Journey to the moon " (FR. Le Voyage dans la
Lune (France, 1902)-the first science fiction film in
the history of cinema. A silent short farcical Comedy
parodying the plots of the novels of Jules Verne
"from a gun to the moon" and H. G. wells "the First
people on the moon". Directed by Georges Méliès on
his own script, on the scenery created by him, at his
private Studio and by his acting group.

security") (the US, 1923)— the classic Comedy silent movie 1923 year. The main
roles were played by Harold Lloyd and Mildred Davis. Mildred Davis became the
wife of Harold Lloyd in the same year 1923. The film is best known for the scene
where Harold Lloyd hangs over the city on the hand of a clock.
