earth. The most
popular meteor is
Allende.

The first victims of the
meteors were
dinosaurs. One of the
most popular theories
about the death of the
dinosaurs is that a large
meteor hitting the earth
at 65 kilometers per
second would have led
to strongly acid rain
falling all over the
world.

Meteors and their
causes :
Meteor shower occur
when the earth in its
orbit around the sun
passes through debris
left over from the
disintegration of
comets.

Effects:
More then 35 millions
years ago, a 15-story
wall of the water
triggered by a meteor
strike washed over
Virginia from its coast
then located at
Richmond to the foot the
inland Blue Ridge
Mountains an impact
that would effect
millions of people should
it occur today. 
My conclusion: The
meteor can hit the earth
ever again and humans
can't avoid.
