INTRODUCTION
The object of consideration in the master's
dissertation was chosen one of the most problematic
areas of Sevastopol - the final part of the
embankment Nazukina in a Balaklava. The study of
this topic will allow you to create a variety of
scenarios that allow you to solve the current problem
created by high transport and anthropogenic loads.
The lack of order and systematization of pedestrian
and transport flows annually leads to the formation
of congestion, the inability to move comfortably and,
as a result, the unwillingness to return to this
landmark, in the subsequent time, vacationers. The
main objective of the thesis: creation of new points of
attraction, the redefinition of the functions, the
development of typical landscaping elements-identity
social and cultural environment, preserving the
history of the place.

HISTORY
The history of Balaklava has about 3000 thousand years, it is
difficult to name the exact date of the city's foundation. It is
known that the shores of the bay were densely populated since
ancient times.
Balaklava at its present location was founded under the name
of Symbolon (Σύμβολον) by the Ancient Greeks, for whom it was
an important commercial city.
In the 18th century, on the site of the embankment there was a
ship's pier, the coastal strip was built up with residential houses
for fishermen. In the 90s of the 20th century, two-and three story buildings of cottages, hotels and shops built in the Art
Nouveau style appeared on the eastern bank. Since the end of
the XIX century, Balaklava has become a resort -a mysterious
fortress, beautiful nature and the history of the area attracts
artists, poets, writers, winemakers. There was a parking lot for
pleasure boats.

LOCATION
From the entire embankment. Nazukina in Balaklava this site is
the most difficult for the transfer, production of commercial
activities and the organization of recreational areas. This is a
kind of "neck" of this territory, which requires the correct spatial
decision.

PROBLEMS
1. Lack of orderly, separate movement of pedestrians/
cars/ cyclists
2. Lack of territory for parking vehicles - the territory
can not cope with the amount of traffic load, especially
during the seasonal period.
3. Lack of navigation, design code of the territory.
At the moment, the road is shared in operation by both
cars and pedestrians. There is no differentiation of
paths, which leads to deplorable situations. Also, there
is a mobile commerce zone and parked vehicles on the
road, which greatly reduces the capacity.
