Essentially, a sun block with SPF
creates a reflective surface on the
skin - 10 minutes of sun exposure
without cream equals 300 minutes
of sunburn with the right SPF30
lotion applied. This is why the
sunscreen needs to be applied
evenly and the cream needs to be
renewed regularly.
The photo above clearly
shows the damage caused
by the sun to the skin. The
left and right halves of the
69-year-old truck driver's
face are markedly different.
If the left side of the face
was regularly exposed to the
destructive effects of the
sun, then the right side was
in the shade of the cockpit.
At the same time, protection
from the sun is necessary

SPF prevents not only the appearance of sunburn, but also
other undesirable consequences:
-photoaging;
-the appearance of allergic dermatitis;
-the appearance of sunburn;
-development of malignant changes.
Exposed areas of the skin, mainly the face, need to be
protected from ultraviolet radiation all year round. During the
day, use a cream with SPF, which will prevent photoaging of
the skin: dryness, the appearance of premature wrinkles and
age spots, a decrease in firmness and elasticity, rosacea.
According to cosmetologists, in 70% of cases, the skin ages
precisely due to exposure to ultraviolet radiation. This is due to

Choice of SPF protection level.
When choosing the level of SPF protection,
several factors must be considered:
-your phototype;
-the condition of your skin (in case of
hypersensitivity, inflammation, moles and
pigmentation, as well as after peels and
aggressive cosmetic procedures, an SPF
protection of at least 30 is required);
-age (in people after 35 years of age, the
skin itself loses its natural protection,
therefore, with age, sunscreen should be
chosen with a large amount of SPF);

The degree of protection against UVB
radiation, which provokes sunburn, is
considered to be the numbers indicated next to
the abbreviation SPF:
SPF 10 blocks less than 90% of UVB rays;
SPF 15 - 93%;
SPF 30 - 97%;
SPF 50 (+) - 98%;
SPF 100 is filtered to 99%. There are 2 types of

How to use SPF correctly?
At first glance, it may seem that there is nothing difficult in using sunscreen,
but even this process has its own nuances, if not observed, the effectiveness
of the SPF product decreases.
Let's take a look at the mandatory steps involved in care that protects the skin
from UV radiation and prolongs its health:
Apply sunscreen 20-30 minutes before going outside so that the product has
time to absorb and form a protective film on the skin.
Apply a sufficient amount of sunscreen evenly to all exposed areas of the
skin, remembering the décolleté, ears, lips, hands, and parting (the open strip
of skin on the head).
Update your protection every 2 hours. If you are relaxing on the beach,
reapply the cream after every swim.
Always rinse off any remaining sunscreen after sun exposure.
