Сравнительная степень прилагательных
из одного или двух слов образуется с
помощью суффикса -er,
превосходная с помощью суффикса - est:

предмета со степенью качества другого
употребляется союз than (чем)

В односложных прилагательных
согласная удваивается после
кратких гласных:
