The ending of the
story
In the second part of the book the author talks
about an area, which has remained
untouched by the state: it is set in Mew
Mexico. There old values and freedom are kept
alive.

3.

The main character of this second part is John - the Savage.
He grows up outside of the World State in New Mexico
Savage Reservation. Lenina (Beta vaccination worker) and
Bernard visit the Savage Reservation together and meet
John, the son of director (Ford). He comes with them to
London but there he gets rejected by the World State
Society.

4.

Once John's mother dies he experiences a
mental breakdown. After he is denied to
return to his society, he runs away in
isolations. He lives like an outsider in a
lighthouse and looks for God and poetry.
John realises he will never have the freedom
he is longing for and at the end he hangs
himself.

Predictions
Honestly, some of my
predictions were true. Bernard
was dismissed from the post
he held. He, Alpha-Plus, to
whom so much was given, and
from whom, so much was
expected, betrayed the trust of
the community by his heretical
views on solidarity and soma,
by his refusal to obey the
teachings of Ford.

What the
book made
me think
about
The dystopia got me thinkimg about today's generation and
all the advantages we have now. We do not have to hide our
identity, behave like evryone else, and the most vital point is
that our personal life and emotions are not controlled by
anyone. At not time did people feel free and mobile.
Besides, Aldous Huxley's idea was about how society would
one day be taken over by technology.
There is doubt that modern devices became a natural part of
our lives. Speaking personally, science has not a negative
impact on our humanity. Whether this will remain in the
future or not is a matter of time.
