Support on 737-800BCF in ECS Engineering to convert Passenger Airplanes to a Cargo Freighter.
General description:
Assisted in several design changes to Low pressure, High pressure, Oxygen and Fire Protection Systems and the release of
these systems to support the change of 900 plus airplanes.
Main change related to ECS:
- changes to overhead Main Air Distribution system:
- growing the Air system long in the FWD and AFT direction of A/P
- clearing path with Main Air from the New Large Cargo Door Actuator
- installation of a Supernumerary Air System in the FWD compartment
- modifying the E/E cooling system
- moving Flight Deck Air System INBD .5” to clear New Structural fittings needed to support new large Cargo Door
- modified an Overboard Dump Valve Duct Installation
- new Oxygen lines and system to support 1 bottle and 2 bottle Oxygen configuration for Supernumerary area
Total for release:
45 packages released: retrofit kits, plenum/nozzle ASSYs, tube ASSYs, plates, angles, brackets
