1.Raw materials
Sand and powder
Interstone main powder and sand are lower price silica in appearance . that means most of base color
color is a little dark. But no problem in general color production using.
Also, they are tring to cristobalite sand and powder later for pure white color production,
Cristobalite also has many kind supplier.
Finally, when we use this one, we need to check more carefully in sand and powder size and whiteness.
And, interstone are checking sand size ramdomly when arriving from supplier ,but this one is not enough .
Should check all bags eachly. They are using sand sieving machine for size checking , their powder size is
a litter different Breton tech , powder standard is 325mesh 98% passing .
interstone did not have 325mesh sieve. And powder size checking method also different compared Breton
tech.
Most of sand supplier is not enough in their quality , please do not believe absolutely.
And, interston have sand solting machine , but, in the future , machine need to send ro your supplier
again and make raw materials controlling by themselves. This is good way for saving cost finally.
Raw materials storage condition was good . But, also need to cleaning and order and arrangement for
customers good impression totally

Resin is suitable ,
Interstone,s controlling is suitable,
but during production , mixer operator should check temperature each batch.
Interstone is not enough during production checking , need to make controlling manual. For example,
Every batching when where who ..how can report ….
According to these check , we can make best production condition after gathering some data.
Also we should control for summer season and winter season through resin supplier .
Most of global competition factory is considering resin viscosity according to season.
If interstone can control perfectly factory inside condition evenly. You can not control resin viscosity.
But, this will be not easy..
Additives
Cobalt and cross linking agent silane is suitable
They are using Breton tech , but did not check their pigment,s condition because of my limited visiting
schedule.

2. Slab quality
Most of production,s pattern was stable. Produced Color was stable.
But, multi color was not find for checking pattern and color .
In order to check more in detail, we should make multi color. Later I want to check one more time.
During my staying , I founded some bending and pinhole problem
This two kind defect is very common case in globally quartzstone production .
Bending reasons is too many.
All parameter can influence slab bending . Already I mentioned about this one through this time visiting.
Your peoples will understand maybe.
And, pinhole also we discussed about many reasons.
Oleg and your peoples can solve these one . we can talking one by one continuously.
I will try have discussion with you and hope good releations each other
I checked your specific geavity shortly in laboratory . Result was 2.36 . This means your slab has
more resin compared quartzstone standards products.
You should down resin percentage in formula. Need to check and understanding in laboratory again.

Your thickness is a litter thin totally after polishing .most of thickness is 20mm below, this means that
your calibrating and polishing need to control again , too much calibrating and polishing is no good in
cost down and slab bending .
Now, your calibrating machine was not stable , need to operate more experience.
Calibrating diamond abrasives life cycle will short if you cut too much. and will be demaged in machine.
Also, need to control running belt speed , especially dark color need to down. You need to test for
example 0.8mm or 1mm per minute.
Also, need to down rough slab thickness at press before oven stage.
Before entering calibrating machine ,you should check rough slab thickness one by one.
Also, should check slab bending condition and surface uneven or even for controlling machine
According to more experience, your line will be more stable.

3.Other,s
1) Film for pressing need to change for cost down ,looks too expensive.
Need to try and test more cheap materials
2) On the belt using film- also this one need to change more cheap films.
This reasons make mixture saving and make more easy cleaning – already talk to your peoples.
3) Dust suction hopper in each machine is not installed . In the future, you need to install ,especially
mixing stage .- it,s your option.
4) Slab cooling machine by veegoo is no problem – this one upgraded compared another factory.
5) Press cooling machine was also up graded compared another factory.
6) Pigment distributor second machine will make more various patterns- it,s upgrade and not installed
another old veegoo machines . Interstone has good chance for new pattern production.
7) Slab stacker mounting table,s incline angle is a litter more inclined .so, too long time stacking is
dangerous in bending.
8) Factory inside is too warm for working. Very good condion in winter season. Your peoples is very
lucky. Most of global factory is cold in winter.
9) importing China resin in interstone is need to consider more . We need to time for checking their
quality and condition / qualification .
10)For white color production, we should request to supplier for some lay out in advance. Need to
meeting again ,

4.Second line installation
You are checking many machine maker already .
Before installation. You should decide how many color launching in market, where the main market?
And color? and pattern? target samples? Price policy? And so on….
And if you want calacatta,s pattern by automatic, you should install Robot machine .
Most of Breton tech is using robot at least 3~4 robot for automatic production.
China robot is composed robot and CNC .this means their robot program is not perfect .so they tried
CNC together.
VEEGOO is developing robot and CNC continuously , but, still not enough in market requirement
pattern in compared Breton products.
LE Mac also not enough .their robot development is just beginning stage.
Teltoss Italian maker , their robot program looks good , especially production press power is very
powerful . Vaccum system and electric motor each power 12Kw. This means capacity gurantee .
Finally, we should consider many things , machine price .final quality also capacity,..
Now we are using veegoo production machine , if machine price and robot has possibility in calacatta
production, and special pattern guarantee assurance. It,s simple decision , will be in good releation
with veegoo continuously).
finally, in second line , we should do confirmation by document in contract about capacity and counter
pattern agreement also Quality …… in order to escape some risks after installation

My opinion,
In First line empty area , we can install robot by China machines for more understanding and
experience robot . – after China final meeting
This one can decided through final checking in their factory through detail meeting at next year
February. (we should prepare question item and agendas in advance before visit)
Espicially, first and second line need to connect for more easy slab moving for saving
materials(sometimes , in case of machine troubles, much mixtures can be wasted)

5.Conclusion
Many things was talked with your staffs through this short visit.
This report is so simple , as you know, there are many many reason and factor in production ,I can not
explain about all these one through this time visit,s simple report . I hope your deep understanding for
next step
Interstone will be changed completely through My third visit . (if you try , I will prepare everything for
you, if possible ,at direct flight to Moscow)
Your factory line was so effective in production.
