The problem of the research the fact that the
influence of Anglicisms on our lives is difficult to
deny. One way or another, they penetrate into the
modern spoken language.
The hypothesis: the use of Anglicisms in modern
Russian language especially among young people
is widespread and intensifies rapidly every year.

Anglicism – is a word or a turn of speech in some
language borrowed from the English language or
modeled after an English word or expression. Youth
slang is one of the functional styles used by native
speakers with a relatively high level of education

Over time, teenagers and even more adult people began to celebrate World
Spoiler Day — it is celebrated on June 4. And for people who are very annoyed
by spoilers, they came up with a special term "spoileropobia”.

Students of the 10th and 11th grades took part in the testing (a total
of 250 people aged 16 to 18 years)
The students were asked the following questions:
1. Has the Russian language changed in recent years?
2. What do you think is the reason for borrowing from foreign
languages?
3. Do you consider the use of foreign words fashionable and popular?
4. Do you often use borrowings in your speech? Why?
5. Give a few borrowings from the English language that you know.
