Heart of gold
In one large forest, there was a generous little squirrel. She loved
all the animals in the forest and always helped them. One year,
before winter began, all the inhabitants of the forest began to
store supplies. The squirrel didn’t want to be left behind by her
friends, so she started picking nuts, bumps and mushrooms. So
autumn ended, winter came. The squirrel collected too many
supplies. So she decided to share them with the forest animals.
She gave the nuts to the mouse, the bumps to the birds, and
the mushrooms to the bear.
- Squirrel, come on! What will you eat in the winter? - Asked
the hedgehog.
- I still have a lot of supplies. Don’t worry.
- No, I don’t want you to give them away! You’re going to
starve!
The squirrel didn’t listen to him. So the squirrel gave away all
her supplies. She got really scared and started crying. But all her
friends helped her and shared their food with her.
