Ufa: from past to future

The problem: taking into account the individual
characteristics of children in the preparation and conduct of
excursions, a presentation of excursion objects for making
tours more interesting.
The aim of the research: to pay attention to the formation
of a sense of patriotism and love for their country in
children.

Several tasks:
● to conduct a tour of Ufa, highlighting the most significant
historical moments and important buildings;
● to recount the outstanding individuals who have left their mark
in the city's history;
● to make a connection with famous heroes from different
cartoons or films and include them in excursion, so to make it
more interesting for the children;
● to make a video presentation of Ufa from children;
● to combine historical context with contemporary realities in
order to better understand the uniqueness of Ufa as a cultural
and historical center.

Findings, methods and analyses
In the second half of the XVIII century in Russian pedagogical literature, the first statements
about school excursions appear. This idea has become very popular. She found her reflection
even in the school charters (XVIII - XIX centuries). Since that time, one can trace the emergence
of excursion business for schoolchildren in Russia. In 1885, it was decided to create the first
tourist company in Russia, Enterprise for public travel in all directions of the world" Lipson
(Rostovskaya & Vitkovskaya, 2015).
Currently, there are disputes about the appearance in Russian of the term “excursion”. Zueva
(2015) describes in her work that during the reign of Empress Catherine II, the “Charter of the
Public Schools of the Russian Empire” was compiled in 1976, which included recommendations
by prominent scientists on the use of the visual method in teaching, which was more like walking
in nature.
In the 19th century, the creative and cultural intelligentsia, following the example of
Western European travelers, began to organize specialized tourist and excursion societies, which
contributed to a deeper study of domestic and world cultural experience, nature and history.
Gunji´ (2017) emphasizes the special role of such communities in the development of not only
enlightenment, but also in the development of society and the preservation of the cultural and
historical heritage.

excursions.
The methodology of excursion is the ability to show the object and the ability to tell about
the objects and events related to it. Let's enumerate the basic methodical techniques
used in conducting excursions:

Question-and-answer technique
Excursions are a wonderful way for children to discover something new and
exciting. Unlike lessons, they allow children to interact with the object of study directly:
see it from all sides, touch it, smell it, and even taste it. Knowledge gained in this way
remembered much better.
