9. Program structure

Duration: 1 academic year (2 semesters). Total number of teaching
hours: 1080.
1st semester: Chinese language, specialized Chinese, Chinese culture,
intercultural communication, lectures and seminars.
2nd semester: advanced Chinese language, specialized Chinese,
mathematics, physics, chemistry, culture, seminars.
Workload: 30 academic hours per week.
Tuition fee for Foundation year in Uzbekistan 65.000.000 sum

10. Main disciplines

Comprehensive Chinese: phonetics, vocabulary, grammar, hieroglyphics, oral and written practice.
HSK preparation: systematic training for successful passing of the exam (goal - HSK-4 and above).
Specialized Chinese:
Scientific and technical Chinese (terminology in mathematics, physics, chemistry).
Economic Chinese (vocabulary in economics, trade and business). Humanitarian Chinese (literature, art,
pedagogy).
Teachers with international certificates in teaching Chinese.
Small groups (20-22 students).
Use of multimedia technologies and modern methods.
Academic support, supervision and adaptation assistance.

Upon completion of the program, the student receives a
Certificate of Completion of the Preparatory Program. This
certificate, together with the HSK-4 results, provides the
opportunity for direct admission to the undergraduate programs of
Harbin Institute of Technology.
