Preliminary summary descriptionData quality and correlation
The recorded MBTT data has good quality. Correlation was done based on the Completion Status Report provided by the client. All depths are in mbdf.
7” intermediate casing
The casing calculated thickness has no deviation from nominal thickness above the accuracy of 5-7%.
Some casing joints has two over-magnetized zones that leads to increased fluctuation level for MBTT4 Short and Medium sondes latest time domain. This
effect can mask localized casing corrosion.
The casing shows indications of metal loss (unless attributable to specific pipe properties or over-magnetize effect) that fall below the calculation accuracy for
the first barrier (5%) at the following intervals: 921.3-932.6 mbdf, 1113.0-1147.3 mbdf, 1150.4-1157.5 mbdf, 1160.9-1182.4 mbdf, 1239.7-1287.3 mbdf, 1342.61375.8 mbdf (see slide 5). These intervals were not included in the “Corrosion Summary Table,” as the calculated metal loss percentages are below the tool’s
accuracy threshold.
It should be noted that there is a drastic drop of the amplitude on the early time domain channels of the MBTT4 Short/Medium/Long sondes at the depth
1113.2 mbdf (see Slide 4). Considering the increasing deviation across the overall bottom section of the log at 1060.0-1403.0 mbdf from 10 to 50 degrees,
such changes of MBTT4 data could be related to deviation effect and possible casing deformation. It is recommended to conduct specific survey for further
deformation evaluation.
In addition, casing equipment (possibly centralizer) was detected right below the amplitude drop point at 1115.6 mbdf, as well as below at 1167.0 mbdf, 1217.7
mbdf, 1268.7 mbdf, and 1370.5 mbdf.
9 5/8” surface casing
The casing calculated thickness has no deviation from nominal thickness above the accuracy of 7-10%.
The casing shoe was detected at 497.5 mbdf.

The MBTT is an electromagnetic-based corrosion tool that provides an average circumference metal loss calculation. The
accuracy of the metal loss calculation is 5% for the 1st barrier, 7% for the 2nd barrier, and 10% for the 3rd barrier.
