What is it?
The Uyuni Salt Flat is the world's
largest salt desert. It is located
in Bolivia, in South America. It is
over 10,000 square kilometers of
pure white salt. It is very flat and
looks like a giant white sheet.

During the rainy season, a thin
layer of water covers the salt.
This creates a giant natural
mirror. The sky reflects perfectly
on the ground. You cannot see
the horizon. It feels like you are
walking in the sky!
