Teacher Instructions• Each grid hides 3 or 4 ships.
• Students take turns choosing a square by saying
the word out loud and making a sentence with it.
• (Example: ‘I love watching tennis on the
television.’)
• After the sentence, click on the square
to reveal what’s behind it.
• If there’s part of a ship, mark it as a hit!
If not, move on.
• Keep playing until all parts of the 3 or 4 ships are
found.
• Then, go to the next slide to play with a new grid
and new words!

Let’s Play: VocabularyBattleships!
• In this game, we’re going to practise sports and hobbies
vocabulary in a fun way.
• Each grid is hiding 3 or 4 secret ships. Your job is to find them
by choosing a square, saying the word out loud, and making
a sentence with it.
• If your sentence is correct, we’ll check the square to see if there’s
a ship underneath.
• Let’s see how many ships you can find!
