2. A MEMORIAL PLAQUE AT THE LOSINOOSTROVSKAYA STATION

This plaque was installed in 2011 in
the memory of the soldiers killed in
the explosion of the tier number
47045 at the Losinoostrovskaya
station in December, 1941. There
were soldiers of 18th Airborne
Brigade. In the accident 400 people
were killed. All of them were buried
in the Raevskoye cemetery near the
river Yauza in the north-eastern
distict of Moscow.

3. Nikolay Antonovich Ivin

• The only
survivor was
Ivin, as at the
time of
explosion, he
violeted the
order and
went to get
water.

4. N.A. Ivin was one of the main initiators to establish a memorial plaque.
