Задачи:
• изучить новую лексику;
• научиться различать новую лексику на слух;
• научиться писать новые слова;

a castle замок
В Старой Англии замок
называли «castel» от
лат. «castellum» крепость или
«укрепленная
деревня», строили их
богатые люди и короли
для защиты и обороны
во время войн и
сражений.

После норманнского завоевания
французский язык проник в
Англию, Таким образом,
французские слова германского
происхождения сталкивались с
английскими словами, образуя с
ними похожие слова - дублеты.
Современный анг. «garden» - сад
от старо – фран. «Jardin»,
которое, в свою очередь,
заимствовано из древн. герман.
«gardo»
