Optimised for Least Environmental Impact >
• The Nord Stream 2 twin pipeline will run
roughly parallel to the existing Nord
Stream Pipeline
• The pipelines will be approximately
1,200 km long, starting at the Southern
Coast of the Gulf of Finland in Russia
and ending near Greifswald, Germany
• After examination of a number of
possible route corridors, the shortlisted
options cross Russian, Finnish,
Swedish, Danish and German waters
