• School Holidays
The school year always starts at the
beginning of September.
• Školské prázdniny
Školský rok vždy začína na začiatku
septembra.

5. A typical year in Great Britain

• There are six terms in the school
year and three main holidays:
• the Christmas holidays – two weeks
• the Easter holidays – two weeks
• the summer holidays – six weeks
• Je šesť semestrov v školskom roku a
tri hlavné prázdniny:
• Vianočné prázdniny – dva týždne
• Veľkonočné prázdniny – dva týždne
• letné prázdniny – šesť týždňov

6. A typical year in Britain

• There are also short holidays in
October, February and May. These
are for one week or ten days.
• Tam sú tiež krátke prázdniny v
októbri, februári a máji. Tieto sú 1
týždeň alebo 10 dní.
