Wales is located in the
south-west of the island of
Great Britain and borders on
England in the east, the Bristol
Channel in the south and the
Irish Sea in the west and north.

-The official languages in Wales are the English and the Welsh. The English is
spoken by almost all people in southern and eastern Wales. However, northern
and western Wales retain many areas where only Welsh is spoken, and English
is learnt as a second language. All people of Wales can speak English and only
21.7% of the population able to speak or read Welsh.
