Plot
Stella Grant is a patient with cystic fibrosis (CF). She
meets a patient, will Newman, who also suffers from
CF. Patients with CF should keep a distance of a
couple of meters from each other, as infection can be
life-threatening. Will do't take the courses of
treatment, so Stella eventually persuades him to
follow it.

Will and Stella fall in love and secretly go on a first
date. Then will's birthday comes. Po, Stella's best
friend and a patient with CF, arranges The whole
holiday. After a while, POE dies. Heartbroken, Stella
convinces will to leave the hospital. Meanwhile, the
hospital reports that Stella may finally have a lung
transplant. After learning about this, will beg Stella to
return to the hospital. But Stella refuses, and then falls
through the ice. Will pulls her out and, despite the risk
of infection, performs CPR. Stella wakes up.

Heroes are taken back to the hospital. Stella agrees
to have a lung transplant for will's sake. The
transplant is successful, and will learns that Stella has
not been infected. After the operation, Stella wakes up
and sees will through the glass of her room. After
confessing his love for her, will ask Stella to close her
eyes because he can't leave if she looks at him. Stella
closes her eyes and will leaves.
