the southern side of the city,
namely in the area that bears
the historical name of the City
side, separated from the Ship
side by the southern Bay. The
Foundation of the city began
on the territory of the present
Leninsky district: here, in the
area of Nakhimov square, the
first city buildings were laid in

Methods of revitalization:
"Gentrification":
reconstruction
and
renovation
of
buildings
in
previously
unglamorous urban areas, either according to
the program of planned urban restoration, or as
a result of decisions made by professionals and
managers.
"Rehabilitation" - as an organized transformation
of the fabric of urban space, which is achieved as
a result of simultaneous work in four areastechnical renewal, social revitalization, economic
modernization and environmental restoration.
"Reconstruction" — (from lat. re... - prefix
indicating a repeated, renewable action, and
constructio-construction)-a
radical
reconstruction, reconstruction according to new
principles; restoration of something from the
preserved remains or descriptions.
