An explosive charge is placed on the second plate with a layer of the
same.
The charge is detonated using a detonator.

Advantages of explosion
welding:
high welding speed

rectilinear
blanks of a large area, the

of the equipment used.

for protection against
detonation,
availability qualifications of
personnel
to work with explosive
substances,
the impossibility of
mechanization and
automation.
