Biennial International Congress of medical
students and young doctors – MedEspera, which,
under the guidance of the Association of Medical
Students and Residents, this year, reached its 10th edition.
At the event, which was held in English,
participated 780 of young researchers from 15
countries.

2014
Launch of the international magazine Moldovan Journal of Health
Sciences, published in Romanian and English, with a quarterly
periodicity.
Starting with no. 1 of 16.11.2015, the journal is registered in
the National Bibliometric Instrument IBN / IDSI
Since December 2017, it has been included in the list of
scientific magazines category B.
The journal is listed in the Copernicus Index and Google
Scholar.

The Optometry program - began on September 1, 2017.
The implementation - Moldovan-Norwegian collaboration partnership
(Project, titled Moldovan-Norwegian Collaboration in Optometry. Improving
Primary Eye Care in the Republic of Moldova 2015-2022).
Approved by the Government of the Republic of Moldova through
Decision No. 482 of June 28, 2017, which authorized the Nomenclature of
Professional Training Fields and Specialties in Higher Education.
Published in the Official Gazette on June 30, 2017, No. 216-228,

Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) and
the European Qualifications Framework (EQF).
