My favourite music is the music of the performer "Kishlak". Before we get to his discography, I
suggest getting to know this artist's personality a little bit

the story of kishlak
The artist’s real name is Maxim Fisenko. He was born on December 14, 1998,
in the Murmansk region, in a small military town called Severomorsk, where
he also spent his childhood and youth. Maxim’s childhood was difficult and
full of trials and psychological trauma. Maxim describes his birth like this:
«Two alcoholics got together and had me». Everyone in the family of the
future alternative scene star had alcohol problems, and later Maxim himself
developed them. The father constantly beat his son and mother, so when
Maxim was two, his mother took him and left. After finishing 9 grades at
Severomorsk School No. 12, Maxim entered a local college, but he was
expelled from there after a month and a half for poor academic performance.
Due to his difficult childhood as well as the environment around him
(Severomorsk itself is a very depressing and oppressive city), Maxim
developed a histrionic personality disorder, which made him unfit for military
service

From an early age, Maxim became familiar with alcohol and all kinds of illegal
substances, because he had nothing to do except drink in abandoned
buildings and consume in this city. From an early age, the future star had
tattoos, including on his face, and as soon as he turned 18, he underwent a
special operation to fill the whites of his eyes with black paint.

Since the age of 14, Maxim wrote songs under different pseudonyms, but his
first fame came from the project «Hitchhiking Through the Sleep Phase». He
recorded his first tracks on a voice recorder and sang about prohibited
substances, alcohol and suicidal thoughts. The main message of this project
was self-satire and the desire to show that living such a life is not worth it, but
people did not understand this and perceived his songs as romanticization.
The last straw was that someone posted Maxim's songs on streaming
platforms without his knowledge, since he only posted his songs in his VK
group. After that, the «Hitchhiking Through the Sleep Phase» project was
closed. Now we are плавно moving on to his next and still active project,
«Kishlak». This name was not chosen at random. It was the popular nickname
for the «Aviagorodok» area where Maxim grew up.

The first album under the new pseudonym was released on August 17 and
was called 11:11. This number signifies a change of eras, the beginning of
something new.
In the album, Kishlak reflects on the theme of life and death, describes the
world around him, shares his fears and experiences. Maxim dedicated this
album to his girlfriend at that time, whose love helped him forget about the
problems surrounding him.

SHIK
After the successful first album, the talented singer is noticed by the Sony
label, and his next album is released under it, which is when the singer's career
really took off. The album «SHIK» («Collection of Shit and Pictures»), released
on June 17, 2021, is a real collection of stories from the artist's life, in which he
talks about everything he thinks without fear of censorship. After the release
of this album, Maxim went on his first tour of Russia.
Due to the increased popularity, Maxim was finally able to fulfil his dream and
moved to Moscow, where he began work on his third album, which, without
exaggeration, turned everything upside down.

The turning point album
The Escapist album was released on March 4, 2022, and was the first album
recorded in studio conditions. Maxim finally moved away from his old dirty
sound completely and opened up to listeners in a whole new way. The artist
has long given up substances, and now he faces a struggle with new
difficulties: alcoholism and a gradual increase in discontent from the old
audience due to the departure from the old sound. Maxim himself
accompanied the album with the words: «Having fun alone while others are
doing badly is terrible, but my album is not about fun, it's about the life that
surrounds us, it's about the feelings we experience under pressure from
everything, it's about the feeling of love and the feeling of hatred, about the
feeling of life and about the feeling of the opposite, which is only a matter of
time for each of us. Don't forget: "Hell is empty, all the demons are here, way
to the young!"»

Thug emo rap
After the mega-successful «The Escapist», on November 11, 2022 (the date is
11.11.22, an Easter egg), the mini-album «Thug Emo Rap» is released,
featuring Maxim together with his close friend, the performer «Seven Hundred
and Seven». In it, Maxim experiments with sound again and adds his «emo»
touch to the hackneyed «thug rap». The album reveals the problem of
Maxim's addiction to alcohol, as well as the difficulty of life when you are «not
like everyone else».
After this, there is a lull in album activity for a year, but it is not in vain,
because on November 10, 2023, Kishlak releases what is, in my opinion, his
best album.

SHIK 2
The album called СХИК 2, as you might guess, is a direct continuation of the
СХИК album. It is also a collection of stories, but of a more mature, completely
new Maxim. With this album, the artist put a big full stop in his old life and
made it clear to the fans. On this album, Kishlak demonstrated all his
versatility as a performer. It features both light, slightly lo-fi tracks and tracks
with elements of the ambient style, as well as elements from the previous
album «Thug Emo Rap», elements of hard rock sound and even dubstep. This
album was truly groundbreaking, and after it, Maxim's already large audience
soared, giving the artist a maximally secure and happy life.

Thug emo rap 2
The next and so far the last album is called «Thug Emo Rap 2», released on
November 29, 2024, and it continues the story with the second parts. The
main idea of the album was to show a new self who has already achieved
everything, who doesn't care about money and no longer has anything in
common with the old self. After the release of the album, the artist said the
following: «It's a shame that few people liked the album, maybe you'll
appreciate it over time, but it seems to me that most of you stopped
understanding me a long time ago and I don't consider this to be my
problem. I've always made music for fun and didn't adapt to anyone, and it
will be like that until the end. Now there are plenty of new artists who are
suffering. If you like to suffer all the time, look for new idols, but I'm growing
and we're not on the same path».

Not realised pop album
But despite the fact that this was the last album for now, we are expecting a
new pop album in the next few months. The artist has already shown many
snippets from this album, and also announced the first concert in a long time,
which will be held on May 4th (two days before my birthday, fun fact) at the
CSKA Arena and will be the biggest concert of Maxim's in history.

Important singles
The first important single in the artist's career is the track «I F*ck with Jazz»,
released on October 1, 2021. It was released just to fill the void, but
unexpectedly it went viral on TikTok.
The second important single is the collaboration with the performer
GRILLYAZH called «Dvinulsya na tebe», which was released on October 28,
2022. In it, Maxim tried himself in the «pop» genre for the first time to
respond to the dissatisfaction of fans regarding his new work.

Important singles
The next important track in his career, I believe, is «Apnoea», released on May
26, 2023. This song is dedicated to his current girlfriend Sasha, whom Maxim
met before a concert in Rostov, and with whom he plans to build a long-term
relationship, as well as to the fact that he underwent treatment for alcohol
addiction for the first time.
The next important release is the track «Otmena», released on September 20,
2024. This song was written after a series of cancellations of his concerts,
including in Moscow, and after a crowd of people broke into the dressing
room and sprayed everyone with pepper spray before a concert in Omsk.
Because of this, Maxim suspended his concert activities for some time in order
not to disappoint fans with news of cancelled concerts.

Important singles
And the last release by Maxim, which I consider to be the most important, and
simply his latest one, is two songs that make up the collection «02.06.2022»,
released on February 14, 2025. The collection includes the songs «Rostov»
and «For Two», which Maxim dedicated to his beloved girl and released on
such a beautiful date.
After the release of this collection, Maxim bought time on a banner at the
stadium in Rostov, and lines from the song «Rostov» were displayed on it at
certain hours.

Finally, I want to say that I adore Maxim's work because his songs have always
been with me, even during the most difficult periods of my life. I follow him
not only as an artist, but also as a person, and his story inspires me a lot. It is
thanks to his music that I believe I can succeed and be able to perform on
stage and sing my own songs. One of my biggest dreams is to talk to him in
person and thank him for his work, because it has become an integral part of
me, both mentally and in terms of my very first tattoo, 11:11, on my finger,
which I got myself. I hope that some of you have also been touched by his

him, the one that other people have created.
