• Please properly ground the power supply (N-G voltage 5V). Incorrect grounding
may cause electric shock, hardware damage, and instrument failure.

Water supply requirements

General requirements
Water quality should meet the requirements of CLSI Grade II water; resistance is greater than
1MΩ. CM, the silicate content is less than 0.1mg/L;
Water pressure: 100-250KPA (note: the outlet pressure of most pure water machines is normal
pressure, and the water machine supplier needs to provide booster equipment);
Water supply: not less than 30L/h;
Temperature: Water temperature 5-32°C.
Water supply method
Built-in water inlet pump: Supply instrument water via water inlet pump, external water source
cannot be under pressure.
Built-in water inlet valve (without water inlet pump): water supply through pure water machine (or
other pressurized water source);
The distance between the water supply device and the water inlet of the biochemical analyzer should
not exceed 10 meters.

The waste tube should place without bending or protrusion
The waste liquid discharge cannot be blocked
The pipeline is slightly inclined downward and a certain slope is ensured
The length of the waste liquid pipeline shall not exceed 2 meters
Waste discharge method
Connect waste tank: The waste tank must be lower than instrument placed level, ensured
the waste tank cap is lower than waste outlet of the instrument.
Connecting the waste sewer: the waste sewer inlet shall not be higher than 12cm than
ground.
Biosafety risk
Please dispose the waste liquid according to local discharge standards.

If the user uses a water machine to supply water to the biochemical analyzer, it is necessary
to use an adapter to convert the water outlet pipe of different specifications into a standard
6.4*9.5mm PU pipe, then connect to the biochemical analyzer water inlet filter.

Checking before unpacking
1. Please check the packing box before unpacking: one wooden box for assembling instruments and 2
packing boxes for accessories.
2. The packaging of all analyzers has been strictly inspected by Zybio before shipping. After you receive
the instrument, please check carefully before unpacking if the following abnormal conditions exist, if it
is, please notify Zybio immediately.
The outer packaging is inverted or deformed, and the

Unpacking
Push the wooden box to a suitable position, ensure that there is enough space to disassemble the
wooden box, and ensure that there is enough space on one side of the wooden box to push out the
instrument;
Put on gloves, use a plier to disassemble the tongue-shaped buckle connecting the upper cover and the
side plate. The sequence is to first remove the upper cover of the wooden box, then remove the
surrounding
sidebag
plates,
and
take out all
the foam.
Remove the PE

and take out the
desiccant at the bottom.
Remove the slope. Use the M8 Allen key to unscrew the two
slope fixing screws on the side and take out the slope (M8*150,
the bottom is locked by M8 nut);

Remove the bracket fixing plate. Three M8*150 hexagon socket screws + nuts to connect the bracket
fixing plate to the bottom plate around the instrument, use an M8 hexagon socket wrench to remove
the 9 screws and take out;

Lock the slopes side by side, align the universal wheel and place on the top of the wooden box, screw
the foot to the top, and then push the instrument out of the wooden box along the slope.

1. Transport the instrument to a place with a large space near the installation location, and disassemble
the stretch film outsourcing the instrument.
2. Open the upper cover of the instrument, gently remove the foam on the needle module, stirring rod,
the automatic wash station, gently tear off The fiber tape on the reagent tray, sample tray and
reaction tray cover;

4. Push the instrument to the installation position, use an adjustable wrench to unscrew and fix the four
feet of the instrument, so that the feet support the ground.

Pipe connection (do not turn on machine in this step)
1. Pour the refrigerant
Open the refrigerant accessory package, take out the
refrigerant, open the right front door of the instrument,
pull the refrigerant tank (left one tank) a little, unscrew
the refrigerant tank cover, and pour the refrigerant into
the refrigerant tank (6L is standard).

Disassemble the right-side panel, check the pipe that
connect with refrigerant pump, if it is full filled with
refrigerant. If it is not, lift the pipe up and down to
help the pipe full filled with refrigerant.
(notice: the refrigerant pump is forbidden to run without refrigerant, or it will break due to overload speed,
so do not turn on the main power switch before pour the refrigerant into refrigerant tank)

Take out the external water bucket, water tube and water level sensor from the accessory box.

sensor to PW-D port.

Take out the "PW" water inlet pipe from the accessory packing box, and insert it into the "PW" quick-plug
connector on the back of the instrument; the other end of the pipe is connected to the purified water outlet

Probe cleanser installation
Take out the three bottles of alkaline cleaning solution from the accessory box, unscrew the caps, and place
them on the three position of instrument.
When placing them, press them down to pop up, and press them again to prevent them from popping up.
Make sure it is Non-bounced state

Connect EXC400 with computer (do not turn on machine before )
1. Network port (recommended)
Connect the EXC400 with computer via network wire.
2. Serial port (back up port)
Connect EXC400 with computer via serial wire.

Turn on checking
1. Plug the main power cord and turn on the main power, then the refrigerant pump and fans start to work,
check if the refrigerant running normally(green pipe, black pump).

2. 2 minutes later after refrigerant running normally, turn on the switch on the front panel. Then machine
start fill the pure water for internal water tank.
(notice: Do not log in before the inter tank was full filled with pure water)

3. After the internal water tank full filled with water, set your computer IP for network port communication.
3.1 Select network port connection, instrument default IP: 188.188.188.188

3.2 Change your computer network port IP, “Control Panel”=>“Network and Internet”=>“Network and
Sharing Center” =>“WLAN” =>“Properties” =>“Internet 4 (TCP/IPv4)” interface like the following picture.
IP: 188.188.188.001 (keep the last segment value of computer IP different with instrument only)
Subnet: 255.255.0.0 or default

4. Observe the internal water tank if it is full filled with water and the water is flow reach to the pump.
(NOTICE: the water pump is unable to run
without liquid inside, or it may damage due to
overload speed).
If the water did not reach to the water pump,
please lift the pipes up and down couple times
by your hand for helping the water flowing.

5. After the internal tank is fulfilled water, and the water flow reach to water
pump.

6. Observe whether the action is normal: reagent probe R1, R2 and sample probe s rise to the vertical initial
position, then rotate to the horizontal initial position, and finally return to the cleaning pool.
7. The main menu display and no error shown on the bottom.

1. Go to [Mant] [Perd.Mant], select all items and click perform to finish Daily and weekly maintenance.
2. If no any abnormity while doing the daily and weekly maintenance, please process the next step.

5. Enter the QC interface, fill in the value of mean and SD corresponding items. Notice: Set the lot number
and the position of QC in sample tray.

6. After setting the value of mean and SD, click QC. Application. Select the item that you want test
QC, and select the position of the QC. Then click Save and you can check whether the items were
applied successfully in Application. Click Start to start testing.

7. After finishing the calibration, click Cal.Result to see the result of calibration.

8. After finishing the QC testing, click QC Results to see the result.

9. Sample testing: Enter the “Sample” interface, apply the sample. Notice the starting number and ending
number. And you can apply multiple samples. Check the parameter and position of reagent, if you can’t
select the item. Click Start button to start testing. And see the result in Result interface. Calibration, Sample
and QC can be tested at the same time.

10. Click the Result button to check the result.
11. Connect the printer, check the template and print result.
12. Connect the Lis system and make sure the result can be transferred.

Quit the software
Make sure that the system is not at testing status. Technical supports can click EPO to quit the software.
Notice: The machine won’t perform any shutting down process when quit urgently. User must click Shut
Down to quit the software. And the analyzer will perform all shutting down procedure including turning off
the reaction tray, turning off the light etc.
Power off the analysis switch after quitting the
software.
Take
all
the
reagent
back
to
refrigerator before powering off the analyzer. If
you don’t run the machine for a long time (Over
a week), you have to close the water supply
module.
