Software flash procedure

2. Software installation

• Install IXXAT communication tool software and driver
• Install Zapi PC Can console 0.93 software
• Install ZP Can flasher 0.63 software

3. Connecting CAN Bus tool

• Skin wires C1 and C3 for
about ¼’’.
• Connect CAN-H cable on C3
wire and CAN-L on C1 wire,
than put key to on position.

4. Saving current configuration

• Open ZAPI PC Can Console
• Select Can Device in
Configuration menu

5. Saving current configuration

• Select 125 Kbps
• Select USB to CAN and click
ok.

• Click on the Node selection
icon.
• Select the desired NODE

• Click on the Start button.
• Click on the Parameters icon.

• Click on Receive button.
• In file menu, select Save.

• Wait until the file is generated.
• Name and save the file.

• Enter a comment if you wish.
• Close the parameters screen.

• Click on the Alarm Logbook
icon.
• Select Save.

• Select a folder and save the
file.
• Click on Stop button.

• Configuration has succesfully
been saved!

14. Flashing the software

• In ZpCanFlasher 0.63, select
Config CAN menu and click
on Init CAN device.
• Select Ixxat and 125 Kbps.

15. Flashing the software

• Check the USE IXXAT
CONFIGURATION box and
click ok.
• Select USB-to-CAN V2 and
click ok.

• In file menu, select Load
ConfigFlash.
• Select the right .cfi file from
« ZpConfig » folder.

• In file menu, select Load File.
• Select the right .H86 file.

• Make sure all files have
loaded properly.
• Disconnect power supply from opposite
controller. If you are flashing the pump
software, disconnect the traction controller,
and vice-versa.

19. Flashing the software

• In Connection menu, select
Start.
• When it shows « Connected
Ok », select Clear.

• Verify the file name, and than
click Yes.
• When the process is completed,
make sure it shows « Write Flash
ok ».

21. Flashing the software

• In Connection menu, select
Stop.
• In File menu, select Exit
Program.

22. Flashing the software

• Re-connect the connector on
the opposite controller and
recycle key switch..
• Apply some electrical tape on
the CAN bus wires.
