Music is a universal language. The language of music is
understood by all the peoples of the world, no matter the
nationality of the author of the music. We listen to music
at home, in the car or on a rest. The music is classic and
modern.
The classic music is performed in Opera houses and
concert halls. There are still classic popular music. These are
songs and romances, that they put the people in the past.
It's all music that requires serious attitude to it.
There are many renowned performers of classical and folk
music, singers and musicians , choirs and orchestras.

Modern music has different
kinds: pop, rock, disco, rap,
techno and others. Young
people like techno and disco.
Older people are fond of jazz,
rock and pop. There are a lot of
singers or music bands who
perform this or that kind of
music. Everybody knows the
founders of rock music.
They are the “Beatles” and Elvis
Presley. Now there are a lot of
discs and records of different
performers. The last
achievement in music
production is a clip. Musical
clips are short films
accompanied by the melody.

The most famous Ukrainian rock band
"Okean Elzy" was born the first concert on the
square in front of Lviv Opera theatre. In 1997
there was the first significant solo concert and
recorded the first album "Tam, de NAS
NEMA".
Since then, the group "Okean Elzy" and its
permanent soloist Slava Vakarchuk has come
a long successful way. Have released six
albums songs. Almost all of them are created
by Vyacheslav Vakarchuk.
