7. Make sentences, as in the example.
1 Anna is busy today. We can’t go shopping together.
- I wish Anna weren’t busy today.
2 I lent Diana my favourite earrings. She lost them.
I wish Diana hadn't lost my favourite earrings.
3 I lied to my best friend. He is upset with me now.
I wish my best friend wasn't upset with me.
4 I didn’t bring my umbrella with me. I am soaking wet now.
I wish I had brought my umbrella with me
5 My flatmate always make a lot of noise. I can’t study.
I wish my flatmate wouldn't make so much noise.
6 I touched the frying pan yesterday. I burnt my hand.
I wish I hadn't burnt my hand./I wish I hadn't touched the frying pan.
