CURRICULUM
Italy's higher education system has
three educational levels: Bachelor's,
Master's and Doctorate. To obtain a
bachelor's degree in medicine, a
student must complete 6 years of
training. At the master's degree for
another 3 years.
The main condition for admission to
doctoral studies is the presence of 3
years of experience in the field of
medicine. To obtain a doctorate
degree, a student must write and
successfully defend a scientific
dissertation.

THE REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION
For admission to medical universities in Italy
for a bachelor's degree, you must have a
12-year education (for example, 10 school
classes of the 2nd year of the university), for
a master's degree 15 years. This can be
confirmed by providing an academic
certificate from a domestic university or by
having a diploma.

FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS
It is quite simple for a foreigner to become a student at the
Italian Medical University: you need to pass an entrance
test in some specialized disciplines and confirm a high level
of knowledge of the Italian language with a certificate.

projects or in grants. Programs of this kind
enable students from different countries to
study a medical specialty in Italy for free. All
medical universities in Italy offer affordable
tuition fees. The cost of the course depends on
the prestige of the university, specialty and
educational level. Depending on these factors,
tuition can cost as much as 600 € or 5000 € per
year.
