Medicine in India
Medical education in India is considered to be
the largest medical education system in the
world and comprises about 535 medical schools
across the country.
About 71,000 students graduate from medical
universities in India every year. Due to this, the
number of doctors in India is growing.
So now the number of doctors to patients is
over 1:1500.

Nevertheless, medicine in India is fast developing. Medical
education is considered to be the largest medical education
system in the world and comprises about 535 medical schools
across the country. About 71,000 students graduate from
medical universities every year. Due to this, the number of
doctors in India is growing.

If students want to admire the Indian University they need to have:
Marks obtained in the competitive examinations conducted at central level (NEET)
Minimum 50 %(for general category) Marks obtained in PCB(P stands for physics, C
stands for chemistry and B stands for biology) in the final examinations of Std.

Similarly for Post-graduate degrees and diplomas (residencies)
the competitive examinations conducted at central (NEET)
level forms the basis for admission or donation based seats.
Specific institutions may also require a personal interview of
the candidate.
Universities and the state issues grants for training education,
but they are quite few and very difficult to obtain. Such grants
can be obtained by a citizen of 25 years with great success in
education. Grants fully cover the cost of education and
provide resources for living. Consequently, education in India
is paid and costs about 200-300$ per month for bachelor's.

If a foreigner wants to study in India, firstly he needs to know
English well. Then applicants need to pass admission
exams. Usually it is chemistry, physics, biology and English but
each medical university has its own tests.
To receive a bachelor's degree, you need to study 3 years. A
professional bachelor's degree is achieved in the next 4 years of
study (master). And a doctor's degree, which can be obtained in 34 years. The whole education system is similar to the UK system.

Wagner Academy is associated with India. About a hundred
Indian students enter the university every year. According to
the rector of Perm State Medical University, Perm doctor's
degrees are accepted in all countries whose students study in
Perm. So, to confirm competencies in Germany, you will need
to pass a four-hour test, in India – an one hour exam.
