Childhood and youth
Noel Roy Fisher (this is the actor's full name) was born in
Vancouver– the largest city in the Canadian province of
British Columbia. It happened on March 13, 1984. The
creative abilities of the guy showed up in his school years. At
the age of eight, Fischer went to music school to learn to play
his favorite song "Please, Mr. Postman" on the piano. This is
the hit of the Marvelettes, which became famous thanks to
the performance of the Liverpool four. Although Noel showed
talent and ability to learn, the guy could not overcome his
natural shyness for a long time. This was the reason that
during his first performances at the concerts of the music
school, Fischer sat with his back to the audience. Later, he
managed to get rid of this fear.

Personal life
For a long time there were rumors about the actor's
unconventional orientation. Fischer refused to
comment on them, but eventually gave up. Noel gave
an interview in which he stated that if his on-screen
character in Shameless behaves like a gay man, it does
not mean at all that the actor himself is from among
sexual minorities.
On July 15, 2017, almost immediately after the above
statement, Fischer married Leila Alizadeh, an actress of
Afghan origin. The couple said that they started dating
back in 2005, but did not want their personal life, as
well as certain moments of their biography, to become
public.
Noel and Leila have no children of their own, but since
2007 they have been taking care of a girl from Zambia.
